The committee asked staff to amend the Land Information Screening Tool report into a Request for Decision and forward it to Trust Council, after members discussed concerns about the tool’s data, public use and how communities could contribute to its development.[1]

The minutes record differing views on the tool. Members discussed the need for more work on its data and methodology, clearer communication about its purpose and limits, and possible community engagement; the minutes also note that staff had presented the tool as supporting planning work on growth trends and ecosystem health.[1]

The committee also asked staff to strengthen minor-project criteria to include a Trust-wide resource-allocation lens, considering planning-resource demand, community scale and complexity, and alignment with federation-wide priorities.[1]

The minutes say the next regular meeting is scheduled for July 24, 2026, and that the minutes are not official until adopted at a subsequent meeting.[1]
